Aulochrome joins SAX200 at last

For the last few weeks of SAX200, Joe Lovano and maker and inventor François Louis have been so kind to lend the aulochrome in order to be shown at the mim! Until Sunday, January 11th 2015, this unique instrument (or should we say instrumentS?) is on display in the last showcase of SAX200.

Pour cette fin d’exposition SAX200, François Louis, l’inventeur de l’aulochrome, a mis à notre disposition son prototype unique. Le grand Joe Lovano qui en joue normalementlors de ses concerts le lui a laissé quelques mois, ce qui a permis le prêt. Ne ratez pas cette occasion d'étudier de près ce drôle de saxophone(s)!

Eindelijk is François Louis' aulochrome dan toch te bewonderen in SAX200. Nog tot het eind van de expo op zondag 11 januari 2015 schittert deze unieke uitvinding in de laatste vitrine van het parcours. De grote Joe Lovano heeft dan toch gedurende enkele maanden afstand kunnen doen van dit dubbel wonderding. Thanks, Joe! Merci, François!
