We start out with a bang, opening the museum until midnight on Sat 8 Feb and, of course, with lots of music.
On Saturday 8 at 8 pm Eric Sleichim & Bl!ndman confront the "absolute music" of J.S. Bach with a newly commissioned work for saxophones and electronics.
On Sunday 9 at 2 pm a special project wind band from the Swiss army plays on period Sax instruments (no saxophones but saxhorns, saxotrombas and the like). They are joined by 6 saxophones of the renowned military band of the Guides of the Belgian army.
Both concerts are free and take place in St.Jacob's church opposite the mim. Check out the events calendar for more details.
On both days musicians surprise you with live interventions in the SAX200 exhibition.
